This sweet friendly bee has been hand crafted by the kenana knitters of kenya using organic wool coloured with non toxic plant based dyes. Every critter is unique with its own personality. Each one comes with a card telling the kenana knitter story signed by the knitter. 100% organic homespun wool filled with new acrylic. 

Kenana knitters is a grass roots organisation located near Njoro (the rift valley area of kenya) founded by Patricia Nightingale, a kenyan woman who wanted to assist local women with a market for their homespun wool. Over time with clever designs Patricia and the knitters transform the yarn into unique creations. Kenana knitters provides a safe family friendly working environment allowing women to work and take charge of their lives with a decent income using their skills and creativity.
