Kenana knitters is a grass roots organisation located near Njoro (the rift valley area of kenya) founded by Patricia Nightingale, a kenyan woman who wanted to assist local women with a market for their homespun wool. Over time with clever designs Patricia and the knitters transformed the yarn into unique creations. Kenana knitters provides a safe family friendly working environment allowing women to work and take charge of their lives with a decent income using their skills and creativity.
