Important Information (Terms and Conditions)


We ship Australia wide using Australia post. Please allow 3–5 working days for delivery to metropolitan areas for orders placed during business hours. Allow up to 3-10 working days for regional locations.  

Orders are dispatched on business days during business hours. Monday to Friday 10am–5pm AEST. Delivery times are an estimate only & we will not be liable for any delay in delivery. Orders placed on a public holiday will be sent the following business day.

We take no responsibility for loss or theft of items where delivery has been completed by our postal service. We use tracking numbers which are shown on all online orders. Please use this tracking number to follow the status of your item.

We do not ship internationally at this time.

Returns policy 

Hive strives to provide our customers with goods of the highest quality.
We are happy to offer store credit, refund or exchange on full priced items that are returned within 14 days of purchase. Return shipping charges will be your responsibility. Alternatively you may return or exchange online purchases by bringing them into the store once our approval has been given.
To be eligible for return products must:
Be returned within 14 days of delivery date
Include the original invoice or receipt as proof of purchase
Be accompanied by a return number issued by hive
Have original tags attached and remain in original packaging
Be unwashed and unaltered
Hive will provide a refund in the event that items:
  Are faulty (unless caused by you)
  Have been incorrectly described
  Are different to the goods that you ordered
Please note we cannot issue a refund for gift cards.
For hygiene reasons earrings may not be returned unless faulty.
In accordance with Australian consumer law we are not required to offer refunds for change of mind. Returns will be approved at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse returns on items that appear worn, altered or washed.

Sale item returns
We cannot accept returns for sale items unless they are faulty.

Return shipping 

We recommend that returns are made using registered Australia post with tracking. We take no responsibility for loss, theft and damage of goods that are being returned via post. Please note that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Costs incurred for shipping exchanged items will be charged to you.

To make a return
Email us at  to let us know that you'd like to return an item making sure to review the return conditions as stated above. Include photos if applicable. If you are eligible for a return we will email a returns authorisation number. Please indicate whether you wish to exchange the item, receive a store credit or obtain a refund.

Once your return is received and checked we will do the following. If we approve your store credit, exchange or refund it will be processed promptly. We will email a store credit to you or post an exchange item. If we issue a refund a credit will be applied to your credit card.  It may take some time for your bank to process your refund. Please check your bank account or contact your bank before contacting us.

This returns policy applies to our online store only.

Product availability
We endeavour to ensure that stock is available at the time of purchase. We offer our products in good faith but from time to time items may be sold out before stock is updated.

Hive sources unique products from around the world that are handmade by artisans and small family run businesses. We are unable to guarantee that product features such as shape, colour, pattern, weave and size will always be identical from item to item. They may have features which are an inherent part of their provenance and are not faults. We make every effort to accurately display the colours and features online but they may vary.

Gift cards
In store gift cards are treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. They may only be used for purchases in store and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. They cannot be redeemed online. No change is given and any balance that remains on the card can be used in whole or part against future purchases at Hive.

Online gift cards are only valid for online purchases, they cannot be redeemed in store. They cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. No change is given.

We respect your privacy and will maintain the privacy of your information. We will not provide any personal details about you to third parties outside of the running of our business and the verified programs and apps we use unless required to do so by law.
